New Jersey sports betting revenue had a solid August performance producing a total sports wagering handle just below $300 million and total revenue of $25 million.

The sports betting events in August do not usually attract a high betting volume as the MLB season is dragging on and the NFL preseason is not viewed as “smart” money opportunities by square bettors. With that being said, the numbers were solid and point to a very strong September for New Jersey online sportsbooks.
